HK Timbers Limited specialise in the production of large strong timber potato boxes and timber vegetable boxes which are used predominantly in the agriculture sector for safely storing vegetables whilst allowing air to flow through.
HK Timbers Ltd was founded in 1968 in order to meet the emerging demand for timber potato storage boxes. Over the years HK has developed a broad customer base, mainly within the United Kingdom but also abroad, to which a wide range of timber based products have been supplied.
HK Timbers prides themselves on the exemplary standard of our products. The products are predominately made from imported timber which is proven to last much longer than home grown timber and with over 40+ years in this business, the products are recognised nationally as being first class in the industry. HK Timbers were also heavily involved in creating the British Standard introduction in 1992, allowing our boxes to be safely and efficiently stacked 8 high.
HK Timbers
were presented with the CBI Award for Most Improved Company at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2012 at The Dorchester in London on Tuesday 27 November.
